Inspired by the first backpacks ever made & later on used in World War II crafted by Ole F.Bergan in 1908 they got their name Bergan’s backpack more popularly known as the Norwegian backpack. Originally made from leather the Bergans pack was later made from canvas. The design was later used by the British Army in 1940 popularly known as the “British Army Bergen Rucksack”
